I enjoyed all subjects. I was in seventh grade and attended RTCA from the beginning. Brother Phillip’s Virginia History class was so interesting to me. I learned so much about Richlands/Tazewell County history.

4. What is your favorite memory from your time at RCA?

Sister Thelma Osborne was a great inspiration to me. She was always pleasant and so kind to everyone. Also, the very first Virginia History trip was so much fun!

5. What was your favorite tradition at RCA?

As a teacher at RTCA, I loved Brother Phillip’s “first day of school talk” in the long school hallway with all the students and staff. His excitement and enthusiasm were contagious. He was there from the beginning and is so missed.

6. What advice would you give current RCA students?

Enjoy your time at RTCA; it will pass so quickly!

7. Any additional information you would like to be made known about your experience at RCA and the impact on your life.

My time at RTCA, both as a student and a teacher, has influenced me in every area of my life. So many great memories, friendships, and experiences that have helped shape me into who I am today.
